ScripTrdr ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
We do not collect government identifiers, and we do not ask for bank, brokerage or payment card details to use the core Platform. If paid subscriptions are introduced, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor and card details are not stored by us.
ScripTrdr is a social product. Your public profile, username, and any content you post with "public" visibility can be seen by others and via share links. Content you mark "private — just my journal" is not shown in the public feed. Choose visibility carefully before posting.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Platform (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and an automated image content-safety/moderation service that screens uploaded images), and only as needed for them to perform those services, or where required by law. Where a feature shares data with a third party, we will make that clear and, where required, seek your consent.
Your information is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, though no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia — primarily in the United States (our cloud hosting, object storage for images, and email-delivery providers). Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs.
We keep your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, and to meet any legal, accounting or reporting obligations. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal information and the content associated with it — including your profile, posts, comments, journal trades, portfolio and uploaded screenshots — from our live systems, other than anything we are required by law to retain or that remains temporarily in routine backups until those backups expire. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
You can access and update your profile information at any time from your account settings. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated personal data. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (such as your theme). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
ScripTrdr is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
We maintain a data-breach response process. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform, and the "last updated" date above will change.
For privacy questions, access/correction requests, or complaints, contact support@scriptrdr.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
