These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ScripTrdr (the "Platform"), operated by ScripTrdr ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Education and community only. ScripTrdr provides tools, education and a social community for traders. It is not a financial service and does not provide financial advice, signals, or execute trades. See our Disclaimer.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use ScripTrdr. By using the Platform you confirm that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.
ScripTrdr is a journaling, education and community product. It is not a broker, exchange, financial adviser, or dealer. We do not hold client money, execute orders, or provide personal financial product advice. Content is general in nature and does not consider your individual circumstances.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the content you post (trades, captions, images, comments, streams). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content on and through the Platform for the purpose of operating it. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.
ScripTrdr is a shared space built on discipline and respect. We may review, moderate, or remove content and suspend accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe and compliant. Members must not present themselves as licensed advisers or provide personal advice through the Platform.
Reporting and content removal. If you see a post, comment, profile or group that breaches these Terms or is unlawful, harmful, or abusive, you can report it using the report tools in the app, or by contacting support@scriptrdr.com. We review reports and remove or restrict content and accounts where appropriate. We also comply with valid legal and regulatory requests, including removal notices issued by the eSafety Commissioner under the Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth). We aim to action reports of seriously harmful content promptly.
Automated screening. Images you upload are automatically screened using third-party content-safety technology to detect prohibited material such as nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence. Content identified as prohibited may be blocked at upload or removed automatically, in addition to review of user reports.
Where the Platform enables members to link or host live sessions, those sessions are educational only. Streamers must not give financial advice, tips or signals, and must comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. We may disable streaming features at any time.
Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing and cancellation terms will be presented at the point of purchase. Paid features are provided on the same "education and tools only" basis as the rest of the Platform.
The Platform, including its design, branding, wordmark, code and content we create, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from it except as permitted by these Terms.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated here. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any content.
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your unlawful use of the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified through the Platform. We may suspend or terminate access at any time for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which we are based. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
